Wayne Cramp Named Vice President and General Manager of Charter's Fort Worth Key Market Area
ATLANTA - The appointment of Wayne Cramp as Vice President and General Manager of the Forth Worth key market area of Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR), was announced today by Chuck McElroy, Senior Vice President of Operations for Charter's Southeast Operating Division. Mr. Cramp succeeds Sharan Wilson who resigned for personal reasons.
“Wayne brings more than 25 years of cable experience to Charter and is familiar with the Texas market,” Mr. McElroy said. “He's a solid addition to our Charter team.”
Mr. Cramp has extensive experience in general management, customer service, new service deployment and engineering, most recently as Regional Vice President of Operations for Comcast Cable's Southwest Region in Irving, Texas, where he also served as Vice President of Engineering. Previous to this he served in a variety of management capacities with companies in the cable television sector, including Adelphia as a Consultant in Regional Customer Integration in Woodland Hills, California; Nortel Networks as Director of CATV Network Solutions in Richardson, Texas; AT&T Broadband as Vice President of Telephony in Dallas, Texas; and Regional Manager for the former TCI in Hartford, Connecticut. He began his career in 1978 with Rogers Cable TV Limited in Canada, where he served in customer service and engineering roles.
