Charter Customers to Enjoy Golfing Greatness with ESPN Masters Tournament Coverage

Watch at home or 'on the go' with WatchESPN

STAMFORD, Conn., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- No ticket to The Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club? No problem, at least for Charter customers who can experience the signature event at home or away via their choice of digital devices.

Charter customers can experience one of the great traditions of spring – ESPN's coverage of The Masters Tournament – live on their in-home high-definition televisions. Or, customers can catch the action on the move through their smartphones, tablets or gaming devices via WatchESPN – now available to customers who receive ESPN's linear networks as part of their Charter TV subscription.

The WatchESPN app is available on supported smartphones or tablets by visiting the iTunes App Store, Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore for Android. It will prompt customers to enter their Charter subscriber credentials before accessing live content from WatchESPN. On computers, customers can visit http://watchespn.com/ and log in with their Charter IDs and passwords for access. Additionally, Xbox LIVE Gold members can download the ESPN experience and verify their subscription for access through their Xbox.

The Masters on ESPN
The Masters Tournament at Augusta (Ga.) National Golf Club will kick off ESPN's championship golf schedule for 2013. In its sixth year at the Masters, ESPN will air 4.5 hours of live Tournament play daily from the first two rounds and the traditional Par 3 Contest the day preceding the Tournament. Expansive news, information and analysis will appear on a variety of ESPN platforms in the U.S. and internationally, including television, radio, online and mobile devices.

ESPN, and ESPN Deportes, (where available), will air 4.5 hours of live first and second round action on Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, from 3-7:30 p.m. ET with an edited encore presentation in prime time each night from 8-11 p.m. ET. Live ESPN coverage will also be simulcast on ESPN3, ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, and WatchESPN.

Prior to the live television windows Thursday and Friday, SportsCenter will air updates every 30 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. daily.
